A Peaceful Life Counseling is committed to providing an environment that limits our exposure to Covid. These guidelines may change alongside new state or statutory mandates.
All in-person clients are required to show proof of vaccination to commence in-person therapy.
We ask that you wear a mask while in our waiting area. You and your clinician may choose to remove masks once you get to your meeting space. I provide hand sanitizer and ask that you use it when you arrive. As such, we won’t shake hands or otherwise touch. All APLCS therapists wash their hands before and after contact with clients.
All high contact surfaces will be wiped regularly (doorknobs, water dispenser, etc).
We employ medical-grade HEPA filtration in offices and waiting areas to assist in capturing viral particles, but this does not completely protect against viral transmission.
If you experience any of the following symptoms or if you have contact with anyone experiencing these symptoms, please contact your therapist to discuss the possibility of doing a telehealth appt. or rescheduling your session. Our cancelation policy is designed to be responsive to illnesses and emergencies – you will never be penalized for being cautious about health issues.
- If you answer answers yes to any of the following, please inform the office ASAP and do not come to the session:
- Fever or chills
- Cough
- Shortness of breath or difficulty breathing
- Fatigue
- Muscle or body aches
- Headache
- New loss of taste or smell
- Sore throat
- Congestion or runny nose
- Nausea or vomiting
- Diarrhea
If you have further questions or concerns, don’t hesitate to let us know! Together we will strive to create a safe and functional experience for everyone.
